Welcome to the WCCB
For 25 years, the World Conference Center Bonn has been a central venue for international conferences, meetings, and high-profile events. The journey began in 1999. With the relocation of the German Bundestag, the former Plenary Building, Waterworks, and Pump House were transformed into a conference center – initially named the International Congress Center Bundeshaus Bonn (Internationales Kongresszentrum Bundeshaus Bonn - IKBB).
In 2007, the cornerstone laying for the expansion of the conference center took place, and the IKBB received its current name - World Conference Center Bonn. In June 2015, the Main Building was ceremonially opened, and by the end of that same year, the Waterworks and Pump House were handed over to the UN.
Over the years, we have continuously evolved and are pleased to give an insight into what we do best in our new image film: realizing versatile events with exciting content, technical challenges, unique settings and spectacular stage constructions together with our customers and partners.

Our Plenary Building is far more than an event venue – it is a piece of German history. Groundbreaking political decisions were made here, and global strategies were developed.
